Your favourite co-created, collaborative group for neurodivergent writers is back!
Most people know that neurodivergent brains work differently from neurotypical ones, but it can be uncomfortable to talk about how our neurodivergence effects our creative lives, and to ask for our unique needs to be heard and met, when in community with other writers.
Creative Chaos is a place where neurodivergent writers can share experiences and learn from one another. No shame. No blame. No getting crapped on for lacking routine/focus/consistency. No mention of potential.

What we’ll do
This group is offered as a collaborative community. Just like our writing, energy and needs flow and change, so will the group content. Based on the wonderful first few rounds of this group, we will likely write a little bit while we’re together, and follow a rotational schedule of checking in, intention setting, redirection, self care Sundays, and show and shares.
(We do not workshop one another’s work, however Show and Shares are a chance to read your work aloud to the group. You can also use this time to share your other artwork or current interests with us.)
Who it’s for
Any neurodivergent writer (or artist) who wants a community where they can show up as their whole selves, mask off, to talk about the intersections of brain, body and creation. You don’t need a formal diagnoses to join us. There will be a maximum of 8 participants in the Fall Edition of Creative Chaos. A minimum of 5 members is required for the event to run.
When It’s Happening
We gather on Zoom on Sunday afternoons from 4pm-6pm* EST, beginning September 17.
Meetings continue weekly (ish) on:
Oct 1, 15
Nov 5, 12, 19, 26
Dec 3, 10, 17
Some fine print: A minimum of 5 members are required for the session to run. Refunds are not available. Should you register and be unable to attend, you can transfer your spot to a friend, or contact Meg to see if she can fill your spot. If your spot cannot be filled by you or Meg, your seat will be offered as a Community Funded Seat at no charge to a community member who would otherwise be unable to attend.
