Creative Chaos

Register for Creative Chaos

Creative Chaos is an experimental monthly writers’ group for folks with ADHD. No formal diagnoses is necessary to join. The group is hosted by Writers in Bloom founder, Meg.

We meet on Zoom on Sundays from 4:30-6:30pm. Registration is currently open for April. Creative Chaos is offered on a sliding scale from $50-$95 for the month. Please use code ACCESSCHAOS for access rate. Please note that we will not be meeting April 9.

Most people know that neurodivergent brains work differently from neurotypical ones, but it can be uncomfortable to bring up ADHD specific issues and to ask for our unique needs to be heard and met when in community with other writers.

Creative Chaos is a place where ADHD writers can share experiences and learn from one another. No shame. No blame. No getting crapped on for lacking routine/focus/consistency. No mention of potential.

This group is offered as a collaborative community.

Right now the group has a very loose structure to guide our time. This looks like:

  • Being welcomed with a writing invitation (folks are also welcome to doodle, draw, paint, ponder or do whatever else pulls them) to land in the space together

  • Contributing to the group by sharing your reflections

  • Time for each participant to read or show creations from the week, or anything else that inspired or excited them (special interest time!)

  • Gently guided conversation, check in, finding the threads and commonalities between participant experiences

  • Exiting our time together through writing

  • Intention setting and final thoughts

Just like our writing, energy and needs flow and change, so will the group content and form.

I’d love to hear from you if you’re feeling unsure about jumping into the chaos.

An important note: If you want to join us, I want you there. Please email to make alternate arrangements for payment, or to inquire about a community funded seat. Money and access to banking should never be a barrier to creativity.
