Skinny Dipping

How do we write about ourselves and our lives without feeling ashamed or embarrassed? How real is too real? What stories are ours to tell? Will our moms be mad at us if we write this? What does it mean to lay ourselves bare in your writing? If you ask yourself these questions, come hang out and explore with Meg, because she wonders, too.

We’ll explore and write about our own stories, experiences and realities.

This workshop an invitation to lay yourself as bare as you want to. This means everything from metaphorical jogging suits to birthday suits are welcome. Write what feels comfortable. Write what makes you curious. Unlike in real life, there’s no way to skinny dip wrong. (Please don’t show up actually nude, though.)

There will be a chance for conversation, exploration and sharing our new, naked words.

This event is part of Session 1 of Small Brave Things Summer Camp.
